Hey there. I’m Amar, a lifestyle photographer and visual storyteller based in Norwalk, Connecticut. Previously I worked as a photojournalist for the Willimantic Chronicle, Connecticut Public Radio and The Daily Campus, UConn’s independent student newspaper. I graduated from UConn in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
I was pulled into photography during my junior year of high school and haven't looked back since. My camera has taken me across the country and halfway around the world. Through my career I have been privileged to cover a variety events from Division 1 sports championships to lions in the African savanna.
I have been granted the unique privilege to tell other people's stories, now I want to tell yours. Drop me a line below and let’s figure out how to bring your vision to life.
Past publications include: the Chinatown Project, Reed Exhibitions, PGA Magazine, the Chronicle of Higher Education, the Willimantic Chronicle, Connecticut Public Radio, Connecticut Public Television, The Daily Campus, Study Breaks Magazine, The UConnBlog, UConn Athletics, the CT Mirror, and the UConn Journalism department.
